Even though Mr. Anupam Kher’s appointment was officially made on October 11, 2017, the tenure period will be counted from March 2017 just like Gajendra Chauhan's appointment was counted from March 2015 instead of June 2015. This process is also called as block appointment, which is likely to have a retrospective effect.
