NEET 2022 Application Form last date has been extended. As per the Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET UG Exam has to be conducted in a common and uniform manner across the nation. Also, as per the Section 14 of the National Commission for the Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there must be a uniform NEET UG Exam for admission to the undergraduate courses in each of the streams that fall under the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions that are governed under the abovementioned Act.

The registration for NEET 2022 is already in progress. On the other hand, the Director-General of the Armed Forces Medical Services has declared that the scores of NEET 2022 will be the criteria for deciding admission for only female candidates in their BSc Nursing Course 2022 at the following colleges of the nursing section of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS):
- College of Nursing, AFMC, Pune
- College of Nursing, CH (EC), Kolkata
- College of Nursing, INHS Asvini, Mumbai
- College of Nursing, AH (R&R), New Delhi
- College of Nursing, CH (CC), Lucknow
- College of Nursing, CH (AF), Bangalore
The total number of seats available is 220. Considering all these circumstances, the National Testing Agency or the NTA has decided to extend the deadline of NEET 2022 Application Form fillup to May 15, 2022 (up to 9 PM). For payment, the deadline is till May 15, 2022 (up to 11:50 PM).
NEET 2022 Application Form Steps to Apply
Follow the steps given below to fill the NEET 2022 application form:
- Open https://nta.ac.in/medicalexam;
- Click on the NEET (UG) Website and Registration button;
- Fill in all the relevant details in the NEET Application Form as required. These include Full Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and educational qualification;
- Include the present address as well as the permanent address of the candidate with the correct pincode, locality, district, city/town/village, state and country;
- Choose a secure password and select a security question and a security pin of your choice;
- Mention your category (whether General/SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Remember that once selected, the category cannot be changed later. Mention if a scribe is required (for PwD category candidates);
- Select the medium of question paper and make your choice of exam centre;
- Upload documents such as the Class 10 and 12 marksheet and passing certificates, the photograph, the signature and the thumb impression as per specifications;
- Pay the application fees and submit the application;
- Take a printout of the successfully submitted application for future reference;
