NEET 2022 exam date has been announced by the National Testing Agency. Students have started filling out the application form and NEET UG 2022 exam will be conducted on July 17, 2022 (Sunday). This year, students will have to upload a few scanned images in the application form including Thumb Impression, Passport size Photograph, Special Category Certificate and Class 10 Certificate.
Instructions to Upload Images in NEET 2022 Application Form
Here are the Instructions to Upload Photograph, Signature, and Thumb Impression in the application form:
- The photograph should be recent, either in black or white or coloured. 80% of the face should be visible including the ears without any mask. The photo needs to be clicked against a white background.
- If a Category certificate is applicable, it needs to be scanned. Similar rules are applicable for a citizenship certificate, and PwD certificates.
- Size of the scanned passport photo needs to be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Size of the scanned postcard photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Size of the scanned signature needs to be between 4kb to 30 kb.
- Left and right thumb impressions need to be scanned according to the template provided while maintaining the size of 10kb to 200kb.
- Size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (ST/SC/OBC/EWS) must be in pdf format (50 kb to 300 kb).
- Size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate must be between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- Size of the scanned copy of the class 10 certificate must be between 50 kb to 300 kb.
- Size of the scanned copy of the Citizenship certificate or Embassy Certificate must be between 50 kb to 300 kb.

Additional guideline
Always check the photographs as well as your signature prior to submission of the application form. If any blurry photos or signature is uploaded, the application form will be rejected.
