NEET 2023 Exam Day Dress Code: NTA (National Testing Authority) will be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2023) for all students aiming for admissions in Medical UG courses across the country. The Authorities have also released the dress code for boys, important instructions and other exam day guidelines for the NEET UG 2023. The students appearing for the exam on Saturday must read the NEET 2023 instructions carefully to know the mandatory dress code, things to carry inside the exam hall, stationery required and other important directions.

These guidelines will help you to appear in the NEET 2023 examination centre with full preparation so that you can focus well on your test performance.

What is NEET 2023 Dress Code for Boys and Girls?

The NTA has specified certain guidelines regarding the attire of both male and female candidates. Although, some instructions are gender neutral like no candidate can wear shoes, heels and other completely covered footwear. Following are the instructions that have to be followed by the students on the exam day:

  • The applicants have to wear a mask all the time in the NEET 2023 Test centre all the time

  • Male students must wear half sleeved shirts/T-shirt

  • Complex-designed clothes having multiple pockets, zips, hooks, and hidden pockets are not allowed

  • Male candidates can wear trousers/simple pants having open pockets

  • For the candidates belonging to certain religious beliefs, they can come with their customary traditional clothes i.e. Turban, Kangha, Kada for sikh applicants and burkha for Muslim female candidates
