NEET 2024 Age LimitNEET 2024 Age Limit: To be eligible for admission to medical colleges through NEET UG, the NMC and DCI have set certain age limit guidelines. The lower age limit for NEET 2024 is 17 years of age at the time of admission. If not, the candidate must complete 17 years of age before December 2024. Hence, a candidate currently 16 years of age is eligible to register for NEET UG 2024 if he/she meets these criteria. In other words, the candidate must be born on or before December 31, 2007.
Regarding the upper age limit, as per the Letter No. U-11022/2/2022-UGMEB dated 9 March 2022 given by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB), the upper age limit for NEET UG examination has been scrapped.

NEET 2024 Age Limit
The age limit guidelines to be eligible for admission through NEET UG 2024 are outlined here in detail:

It must also be noted that NEET age limit 2024 criteria is the same for all reservation categories including the SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PwBD categories. If a candidate does not meet these age guidelines at the time of admission, then his/her seat allocation will be cancelled. It shall also be noted that the date of birth as per the Aadhar Card of the candidate will be considered and hence, if there is any discrepancy in it in comparison with the actual birth date, then it must be addressed before the admission period i.e., before the months of July/ August 2024.
