NEET MDS 2024 Postponed:
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially postponed the NEET MDS 2024 exam date. NBE has released an official notice regarding the postponement. Initially, the exam was planned to be conducted on February 9. With the recent postponement of NEET PG 2024, NBE decided to defer the MDS exam date by 40 days. As per the latest schedule, NEET MDS 2024 will be conducted on
March 18, 2024.
The aspirants can now have a sigh of relief as they have an additional 40 days to prepare for the exam. On the other hand, the cutoff date for eligibility to appear for NEET MDS 2024 is March 31.
While NBE rescheduled NEET PG 2024 in July, NEET MDS has been rescheduled to March. A section of NEET MDS aspirants are requesting the NBE to defer the MDS exam date till July at par with NEET PG. The aspirants are surprised by NBE's decision to conduct the MDS exam in March and the PG exam in July.
NEET MDS 2024 online registration is expected to begin by the last week of January. The application form is usually released 40-45 days before the exam date. Therefore, the candidates can expect the NEET MDS 2024 application form either by January 31 or by the first week of February 2024. NBE will soon release a detailed schedule for the MDS exam along with the information bulletin. The candidates are advised to keep the scanned images of their thumb impression, passport-size photograph and signature ready before the commencement of registration.
The mode of NEET MDS exam is online, i.e., Computer-based Test (CBT). Last year, the difficulty level of the question paper was 'Moderate'.
