NEET MDS 2024 Postponement: Most of the aspirants are distressed about the exam being conducted on March 18 and the postponement of the exam. Candidates who have applied for the NEET MDS exam can expect the decision before March 13. As per the recent update on 4th March 2024, the Federation of Resident Doctors Association of India submitted a letter to the Honorable Union Health Minister. The letter highlighted the issue with the NEET MDS exam and the ineligibility of the aspirant due to the internship criteria. Due to the pandemic, many interns have to come across training breaks which eventually lead to the late completion of the internship by August 24. However, the NEET MDS eligibility criteria have a deadline of March 31st.
The Supreme Court has appealed to the government to look into the matter and reply to the Federation's request within 1 week. Still, there is no official statement released by the officials related to internship eligibility criteria and Exam Day Postponement. However, as per the various sources, candidates can expect a response from the government before 13 March 2024. If the government accepts the request of aspirants, then the candidates can expect the notification on the official website before 13 March. If the government rejects the plea, the admit card will be released by authorities on the scheduled date and the exam will be conducted on the same day.
Also, another letter by the National Medicos Organization of India has been submitted to the Shri Mansukh Bhai Mandviya ji (Hon Minister of Health & Family Welfare) with the same requirement of postponing the exam. Nearly 4607 students have been debarred from taking the NEET MDS exam due to ineligibility. All the aspirants who have applied for the NEET MDS exam are required to stay calm and wait till March 13 for the response from the government. There are many tweets related to aspirants falling ill due to stress. CollegeDekho also appeals to the government to consider the issue related to the internship deadline.
