The NEET MDS 2020 results have been released 5 days prior to the stipulated time on 15th Jan 2020, as per the NEET MDS 2020 schedule posted by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The Board is responsible for conducting the entrance exam, which is applicable for admissions to the Masters in Dental Surgery or MDS course.

How to Check NEET MDS Results 2020?
The National Board of Examination has released the NEET MDS results for 2020. Here are the steps to follow on how to check NEET MDS 2020 results:
- Visit the Official Website of NBE at natboard.edu.in.
- Under the results tab, click on NEET MDS.
- You will be directed to another page, where click on NEET MDS 2020 Results
- You will be directed to another page with the list of candidates who appeared for the exam. The results have been released as per their Roll Number.

NEET MDS Results 2020
The NEET MDS 2020 exam had been conducted on 20th December, in a single session. The examination, which is conducted under the Dentists’ Act 1948, aspirants were asked questions pertaining to the definitive BDS syllabus. The Master’s entrance exam had been conducted for a duration of 3 hours, in an objective manner.
As per the NEET MDS 2020 exam pattern, the candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer that they choose. However, for every incorrect answer, a deduction of 1 mark will be levied.
NBE had released a NEET 2020 schedule, which states that the results will be announced on 20th January 2020. Candidates will only be able to take admissions to the MDS course if they have appeared for the examination pertaining to the NEET 2020 admissions only.
In order to take admissions to the MDS course at the MDS colleges in India , the candidates will be required to have obtained a minimum percentile of 50 in the entrance exam. Candidates belonging to the Sc, ST and OBC categories, they will be required to have scored a minimum percentile of 40. Meanwhile, the minimum percentile requirement for PwD candidates belonging to the General Category is 45.

All candidates will have to go through a counselling process for NEET MDS 2020 after the results have been released by the board. The minimum cut-off for the MDS admissions in India under NEET MDS 2020, is determined according to the vacancies in MDS under different categories. If the number of qualifying candidates, as per the percentile requirement mentioned above is less than three times the number of vacancies available in the respective categories, then the cut-off will be reduced.

The cut-off will be reduced to a number of qualified candidates which is three times the number of vacancies available under MDS in India. The Directorate of General Health Services under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will conduct counselling under the 50% All India Quota seats.
