The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 for the Postgraduate medical courses commenced on December 5, 2016. The examination is being conducted online which will conclude on December 13, 2016. The online examination consist of 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and the candidates need to qualify the examination to secure a PG medical seat. The candidates will be allotted a seat as per the rank they secure in the entrance exam. However, the candidates should meet the expected cut-off subject wise.

In case, if any two candidates secure the same marks, the inter-se marks will be considered as per age. The NEET examination for PG Dental Courses concluded on December 3, 2016. The results for both PG Medical and PG Dental Courses will be declared on January 15, 2017.
This year, the online registration for NEET PG 2017 were concluded on November 7, 2016. It was supposed to conclude on October 31, 2016, but later the date had been extended.
