The National Board of Examinations or the NBE has officially released the notification for NEET PG 2017. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admissions to the Post Graduate (PG) courses will be held from 5th December 2016 to 13th December 2016. However, for the dental courses, the examination will be conducted on 30th November 2016. 86 centres across 41 states in the country will be conducting NEET PG 2017. The applications for the same can be filled in through the official website of NBE latest by 31st October 2016.
An all India 50% quota seats for MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses (in all states except Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana), state quota seats (for all states and UTs) will also be included in NEET PG 2017.

Paper Type:
NEET PG 2017 is a Computer Based Test (CBT) that will consist of 300 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). There is no provision for negative marking in NEET PG 2017.
Exam Syllabus:
- Questions based on MBBS curriculum followed at various medical colleges in India
- Subjects/ Knowledge areas as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by MCI or the Medical Council of India with the approval of Government of India
Paper Duration:
Three hours and thirty minutes (3.5 hours)
Declaration of result:
15th January 2017
