NEET PG 2023 Postponement: On the advice of the Telangana High Court, the NEET PG 2023 aspirants have filed their fresh representation to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the National Medical Commission (NMC). The candidates have stated the reasons for their request for the NEET PG 2023 postponement that is scheduled for March 5th, 2023. If the Ministry of Health and the NMC accept the request and consider postponement, it will be a relief for all the candidates. Since the Telangana HC released its official order, there have been many controversies. However, as per the order, the HC suggested the aspirants make a new approach to the NMC and the Ministry of Health, to which the aspirants have now filed their plea.

As per the request stated by the aspirants regarding the NEET PG 2023 Postponement, the aspirants are stating that as per the schedule, MCC will not be starting the counselling process anywhere before August or September. And many doctors will be completing the internship before the exams. These doctors will have nothing to do for about 6 months until the counselling process starts.

Additionally, the gap between the completion of the NEET PG 2022 Counselling and the NEET PG 2023 Exam Date is marginally less, and candidates who have participated in the NEET PG 2022 Stray Counselling will not have enough time to prepare for the NEET PG 2023 exams. It will be unjust to many doctors, as some will not be able to participate, and some will not be well-prepared for it. Only a handful of the doctors will be able to appear well for the NEET PG 2023 exams, which will be shown at the time of the release of the merit list.

Hence, the aspirants ought the NMC and the Ministry of Health to look into the matter and accept the requests of the candidates and Postpone the NEET PG 2023 exams by 3 months to be fair for all.
