The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has not yet been notified of any notification on NEET PG Counselling 2024. However, based on the last five years’ patterns, it is witnessed that the authorities take a minimum of three months after the declaration of results. The NEET PG 2024 results were announced on August 23. It is usually around 3 to 4 months but due to the postponement of NEET PG 2024 and its late conduct, it is expected that the counselling may begin within 1 or 2 months after the result declation.

Therefore, NEET PG Counselling 2024 is expected to commence by the end of September 2024 or the start of October 2024. If it is delayed, then it might start by end of October 2024. The NEET PG 2024 counselling process entails several steps, including online registration, fee payment, choice declaration, seat allotment results, and reporting.

Only applicants who meet the minimum cutoff percentile in the NEET PG 2024 examination are qualified to participate in the seat allotment process. It should be noted that the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is responsible for conducting counselling for 50% of the All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the remaining 50% AIQ seats are handled by respective state counseling authorities. MCC conducts a total of four counselling rounds for seat allocation in deemed, central universities, 50% AIQ seats, and 50 state quota seats.
