NEET PG Seat Intake Increased for 2024-25 Admissions (Image Credits: Pexels)NEET PG 2024 Seat Intake Increased: In a recent announcement, the Medical Assessment and Recruitment Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission has announced an increase in the seat intake of NEET PG seat availability, applicable from 2024-25 admissions onwards. The NEET PG seats have been approved to be introduced in 172 medical colleges and increased seats in 37 previously participating institutes. The board has released the online notice for the increased number of medical seats in NEET PG Admission Process 2024-25 on its official website including the list of post-graduate courses in the respective medical colleges.

Along with the list of newly added medical colleges, NMC stated that the same information has been communicated to all respective colleges through their email IDs. The approval for these added seats has been given after thorough due diligence by the commission. The listed colleges have been found eligible to provide extensive medical knowledge to additional students.

The official notification shared by NMC is related to the processing of applications for starting New PG Medical courses and the Increase of seats in PG
Medical courses for Academic Year 2024-25. In regards to the same, 1077 online PG Medical course applications have already been sent through the email IDs to the concerned Medical Institutions and Colleges. In line with this, NMC has approved 172 new applications and 37 previous applications in Microbiology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Anatomy, Emergency Medicine, and Community Medicine.
The complete list of all colleges and courses (new or existing) whose seats have been increased for NEET PG 2024 is attached in the PDF above. Candidates can search up their speciality or the institute of their choice to know if seats have been added for that institute/course or not.
