The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the Round 2 seat allotment status or results for MBBS and BDS course at deemed and central universities. Performance/ merit/ score of the candidates secured in NEET-UG 2017 examination was taken into consideration for declaring the second round seat allotment results. Now, the Round 2 seat allotment results for central and deemed universities are available on the official website. The candidates must enter the Roll Number on the official website to check the seat allotment results. MCC has been conducting seat allotment process for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. With the declaration of results, the counselling process of NEET has ended.

Students who bagged admission in Round 2 must report to the respective medical or dental college from August 12, 2017, to August 19, 2017 . MCC has filled around 4,000 seats in the first round out of 8,248 seats available under AIQ. According to sources, there might be a few vacant seats if the candidates do not report to allotted colleges on or before August 19, 2017.

For the year 2017-18, the medical admission process under AIO has almost come to an end. However, there were various issues with the NEET examination in a few states. The government assured that it would take proper measures to regulate all the issues that had risen in NEET-UG 2017 examination in the next session. NEET-UG 2018 will be also conducted in Urdu.
