NEET-UG 2017: Registration for All India Medical Online Counselling Begins

NEET-UG 2017: Registration for All India Medical Online Counselling Begins

The registrations for all India medical counselling has begun on July 3, 2017. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the entire counselling process for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Now, the NEET qualified candidates for All India Quota seats (except the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) are eligible to register for online counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

NEET-UG 2017 counselling process for All India Quota seats involves the following steps:

  • Registration for main counselling
  • Choice filling, indicative seats and locking of choices
  • Round 1 seat allotment process
  • Declaration of Round 1 seat allotment status
  • Reporting at respective medical institutes
  • Declaration of vacant seats (after Round 1)
  • Fresh registration and exercising choices for Round 2
  • Announcement of Round 2 seat allotment status
  • Reporting to respective medical institutes
  • End of counselling for All India Quota

If there are any vacant seats after Round 2, MCC will transfer those seats to state quota.

NEET-UG 2017: Registration Process for Online Counselling:

  • Visit the official website of MCC.
  • Choose UG counselling.
  • Towards the left side of the page, click on ‘New Registration’ link.
  • You need to register first.
  • Use the details that you have filled during the registration process for NEET-UG 2017.
  • Use the same name with correct spelling.
  • Now, generate the password as per the password policy.
  • Remember the password.
  • Use the login credentials to log in.
  • Fill the application form for online counselling.
  • You need not upload any documents during the registration.

Certificates/ Documents to Carry while Reporting to Medical/ Dental College: -

  • NEET-UG 2017 Admit Card
  • NEET-UG 2017 Result/ Rank Card
  • Class 10 & 12 Certificate
  • Proof of Identity
  • Provisional Allotment Letter
  • SC/ST/PH certificate (if applicable)
  • Eight Passport Size Photographs

The candidates must carry both original and two sets of Xerox copies of the above-mentioned documents.
