NEET UG Cancellation 2024 Live Updates: While the re-exam of NEET UG 2024 is scheduled for 1,563 candidates on June 23, the demand to conduct the re-exam of NEET 2024 for all NEET aspirants has intensified. Every day, the Supreme Court is hearing various petitions filed on the cancellation of exams. On the other hand, a recent confirmation of the NEET paper leak in Patna has further intensified the demand.

While the Ministry of Education cancelled the UGC NET exam due to irregularities, no decision was taken to cancel NEET UG despite huge irregularities such as awarding grace marks, paper leaks, awarding marks for a question with two correct and many more. Almost 24 lakh NEET aspirants' future is at stake due to the NTA's irregularities in conducting the exam. For instance, in Patna, the NEET question paper 2024 was leaked one day before the exam.

NEET 2024 counselling is scheduled to begin on July 6, and the candidates are demanding to stall the NEET counselling till the Supreme Court hearing on July 8 on various petitions. Recently, the Supreme Court clarified that it would not impose a stay on the counselling process. However, the recent developments on the NEET paper leak make things uncertain for the NEET aspirants. The Ministry of Education recently clarified that it is taking steps to investigate the matter but there is no clarity on whether the matter will be handed over to CBI or not.

A petition to seek a CBI investigation on NEET UG 2024 was filed in the Supreme Court as well. Students need to wait a few more days to get exact clarity on SC's stand on NEET 2024. July 8, 2024, is going to be a crucial day for the NEET as SC is going to take up hearing on all petitions on the respective date.
