NEET UG Exam 2022 eligibility criteria is released today. As per the official notification, the lower age limit has been updated and in an earlier announcement made by NTA the upper age limit for NEET 2022 exam was removed. With the existing modifications the exam authority is all set to conduct the test on July 17, 2022.
Now, it is high time for all aspirants to be aware of the eligibility criteria for the NEET UG Exam 2022 such that they can fill the application form and ace the exam to the best of their ability. NEET Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Age Requirement | Candidates wishing to appear for NEET 2022 need to be born on or before December 31, 2005. The upper age limit has been removed this year only. |

Nationality | NEET 2022 eligibility criteria states that candidates have to be Indian Nationals, Non-resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) or Foreign Nationals in order to qualify for the NEET UG Exam. |
Educational Qualification | Candidates who have passed their 10+2 or are going to appear for the same in 2022 can apply for NEET UG 2022 |
Subjects Studied | To sit for the NEEt 2022 exam, candidates have to study Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology compulsorily. English as a core subject is also needed. |
Minimum marks needed for qualifying exam | Candidates need to score at a total of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (for General category candidates) if they wish to sit for the NEET 2022 exam. For SC/ST/OBC students, the cutoff is 40%. |

After the NEET 2022 exam, the admissions to MBBS/BDS/AYUSH/BVS courses are dependent on the counselling process that is initiated by the MCC right after. According to the NEET 2022 rank, the candidates will get admission in premier medical institutions to study the course they want.
