NEET UG Final Seat Allotment 2022 Round 1 has been published on October 21, 2022, at mcc.nic.in. The online and offline reporting will be carried out from October 22 to 28. The details of the seat acceptance process are given here.

NEET UG Final Seat Allotment 2022: After the release of the provisional seat allotment, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the final seat allotment for the first round of undergraduate medical counselling today, October 21, 2022 . Along with the final merit list, the seat allotment letters has been made available through the candidate login for those who have been allotted a seat.

Such candidates are to report at their allotted institute between October 22 to 28 to confirm/accept their seats. Further details regarding the seat acceptance process are given below.

MCC has released the seat allotment result in the form of a condensed PDF containing the name and roll number of the candidate, their allotted institute & course, and the quota through which the allocation has been made. Candidates can directly check their allotment by searching their name/roll number in the file attached below:

NEET UG Seat Acceptance Process 2022

Once the seat has been allotted to a candidate, he/she can accept the seat, go for upgradation, or reject the seat altogether. Its steps are listed below:

To confirm the allotment:

If the candidate is satisfied with the allotment and wishes to finalize it, he/she shall download their allotment letter through their candidate login at mcc.nic.in. Such candidates shall visit their allotted institute physically with the required documents and take admission by paying the requisite course fees. Such candidates shall give their ‘Seat Upgradation Willingness’ as NO at the time of admission.

To go for seat upgradation/Round 2:

Similar to that of allotment confirmation as detailed above, upgradation candidates too shall download their allotment letter and report physically at their allotted institute and take admission there. However, such candidates must give their ‘Seat Upgradation Willingness’ as YES.

To reject the seat:

Candidates wishing to reject the seat shall simply not report at the allotted institute and their claim to the seat will automatically be fortified. The rejection of a seat is only without monetary dues for Round 1, referred to as 'Free Exit'.
