NEST 2017 Results Announced

The results of NEST 2017 are out now, and the results are available on the official website. Students who appeared for NEST 2017 examination can check their qualification status. NEST 2017 examination took place for the admission to programmes offered by Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai University and NISER. Through NEST 2017 examination, the examination authority will fill 219 seats in Integrated M.Sc programme. The main objective of the Integrated M.Sc programme is to identify and train the students who will be able to carry out innovative scientific research in the country. NEST 2017 examination took place on May 27, 2017, at 124 test centres across the country.

The candidates who are going to check NEST 2017 results must remember that the name of the candidates will feature in the merit list only if they acquire both Minimum Admissible Score (MAS) and Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS). Simply, the candidates must score 90 marks in NEST 2017 to feature in the merit list.

  • NEST 2017 results are available on its official website, i.e., NEST Exam.
  • You can find the NEST 2017 results link on the homepage.
  • Roll Number, Application Number and Date of Birth are mandatory to check NEST 2017 results.
  • After checking the NEST 2017 results, take the printout.

Now, the candidates who made it to the merit list of NEST 2017 must attend the counselling process. However, not all the candidates whose names are featured in merit list may get admission. The seat allocation to Integrated M.Sc programme depends on merit, i.e., marks scored/ rank, reservation and admission norms. The counselling schedule will be published on the official website of NEST soon.
