New Army Law College at Pune Receives Bar Council Approval

  • The new Army Law College at Pune will offer admission to the children of serving and retired army personnel. The admission will be on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law. 
New Army Law College at Pune Receives Bar Council Approval

A new Army Law College for the children of serving Army personnel and officers will be inaugurated on 16th July 2018, at Kanhe in the Maval Taluka district of Pune, Maharashtra. The new law institute is a residential institute.

The college has received approval both from the State government and Bar Council of India. The Army Law College, Pune will offer integrated Bachelor of Business Administration, (BBA + LLB) course from a 2018-19 academic year and is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The institute has been established by the Indian Army and is an initiative of Army Welfare Education Society.

The new college will offer admission to children of serving and retired army personnel and the admission to the respective courses will be done on the basis of marks scored by candidates in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law. The inauguration of the college will take place on 16th July 2018 and the guest of honour for the event is Lieutenant General DR Soni.

The new Army Law College at Pune is being established on a sprawling 50 acres land at Kanhe district. The infrastructure of the college is still in progress and will be developed in three phases. The first phase of the work will be on renovating the existing property to accommodate the students for the initial two years. The second phase will be to complete the infrastructure of the college such as academic and administrative blocks, hostels and recreational areas. The third phase will be to work on residential areas for the faculty and staff of Army Law College.
