The HTET (Haryana Teacher's Eligibility Test) level 3 exam which was to be held on November 14, has been cancelled. The announcement of the exam's cancellation was notified by the education minister of Haryana, Rambilas Sharma. He also said that the schedule is going to be revised and the new exam date will be announced soon by BSEH. The exam got cancelled due to HTET paper leak at a few exam centers.
Approximately 1.2 lakh candidates appeared for this highly secured exam. The paper was leaked at a test venue in Jind district where two female and three male candidates were caught having the solved question paper of the TET examination. As per newspaper reports, Chairman of Haryana Board of School Education has confirmed the cancellation news regarding PGT Level-3 test. However the Level-1 and Level-2 exam will be conducted as per the previous schedule only. New dates for Level 3 has to be announced soon.
Aspirants are advised to keep visiting the Board's website regularly to get latest updates regarding the test. This time the number of women aspirants who applied for the HTET 2014-15 is more than twice the number of men who applied.
