Magadh Mahila College Patna (MMC) will soon have the much awaited indoor stadium on its campus. The college, as of now, has a cemented basketball court and after the construction of the stadium, the students would be able to play volleyball, badminton, table tennis, basketball, billiards, judo and chess. The stadium will be able to accommodate 100 people.
The Principal of the college Dr. Asha Singh said, that the state education department has funded the college with Rs 25 Lakhs for the indoor stadium. The indoor stadium would be a four-storeyed building. While the top floor will be used for residential purposes, the third floor will be used for gym, and the first and the second floor will have sports facilities. The indoor stadium will also have dressing rooms, first-aid facility and a canteen.
