The University of Surrey has introduced five new postgraduate courses in the commerce stream which will help international students extend the visa in the UK. These postgraduate courses are one of its kind and promise to extend the student visa to work visa.
The University of Surrey PG courses will offer a work permit to international students as a part of the course curriculum and update their student visa to work visa.
University of Surrey M.Sc Courses:
The five new courses offered by the University of Surrey are:
- M.Sc in Marketing Management
- M.Sc Business Analytics
- M.Sc in Operations Supply Chain in the Digital Era
- M.Sc in Human Resource Management
- M.Sc in International Retail Marketing in the Digital Environment
All the above-mentioned courses are 15 month long courses as against the standard 12-month courses. In the additional three-months, students will be asked to work in the relevant industry related to their course and meanwhile, the university will update their visas.

University of Surrey M.Sc Courses Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 60-65%
- Applicants must have an IELTS band of 6.5
University of Surrey M.Sc Courses Fees:
- The tuition fee for the per course (Total) is 20,500 pounds.
Mark Barlow, Director of Student Admissions and Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Surrey informed the authorities that these new courses are a replacement of traditional arrangement where candidates were required to submit a dissertations/research work as their final project. However, these, M.Sc courses at Surrey University will offer students an opportunity to find relevant job opportunities.

The students will be mentored and guided by a Senior Teaching Fellow and Career Officer at the University. The students will be helped in the placement search.
