Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandra Babu Naidu annouced that there will be changes in the methods of teaching from the next academic year (2016) at school level. He said that emphasis would be laid on new pedagogical methods, which would lay considerable focus on incorporating modern technology.
The representatives of Dell company met Chief Minister and gave a demonstration on state education system and steps to be taken in the coming four years to improve the current system of education. They advocated the need to introduce international standards in education to make Andhra Pradesh as education hub.
The company had already introduced these reforms in Brazil and Pakistan and yielded good results. In India, they have been implenting the new system successfully on Haryana, and also Punjab state in Pakistan since two years.
Chief Minister said that technology should be introduced to concentrate on ensure the teacher concentrates on students. The company assured that they would submit the blue print by May and try to introduce the reforms from the next academic year.
