New VCs Appointed for Eight Universities in Telangana

The new VC’s will continue for the next three years. All the VC’s for the eight universities took the charge on 25-July-2016.
New VCs Appointed for Eight Universities in Telangana

The government of Telangana has finally appointed the Vice Chancellors for eight universities in Telangana. These universities are being administered by in charge VCs for the past two years. The newly appointed Vice Chancellors will continue for the next three years. They took charge on 25-July-2016 . Out of the eight, five VCs are retired professors who rendered their services in Osmania University.

Newly Appointed VC’s:-

  • Acharya N Rama Chandran has been appointed as VC for Osmania University . He rendered his services as professor of Computer Science Department at Osmania University.
  • Acharya Saayanna has been appointed as VC for Kakatiya University. He was a retired professor of Physics Department at Osmania University.
  • Acharya A Venu Gopal Reddy is appointed as the VC of JNTUH . He was a retired professor of Computer Science Department at Osmania University.
  • Acharya P Sambayya has been appointed as VC of Telangana University. He was a retired professor of Public Administration Department at Kakatiya University.
  • Acharya SV Satyanarayana is appointed as the VC for Telugu University . He was a retired professor of Telugu Department at Osmania University.
  • Acharya KV Seeta Rama Rao has been appointed as VC for Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University. He was a retired professor of Public Administration Department at Kakatiya University.
  • Acharya G raja Ratnam is appointed as VC of Paalumuru University . He worked as a professor of Commerce Department at Osmania University.
  • Acharya V Praveen Rao has been appointed as VC for Jayasankar University . He worked as Special Officer for Jayasankar Agricultural University.

Since the division of Telangana in the year 2013, the government did not take the initiative to appoint VCs for these universities.
