The implementation of the NEXT exam for the 2019 MBBS batch from the year 2024 has now been deferred as per the instructions received from Ministry of Health. NMC has issued an official notification regarding the same.
NEXT Exam 2023 PostponedThe National Medical Commission has officially confirmed that the NEXT exam for MBBS graduates which is scheduled to be conducted in 2024 has now been deferred till further orders from the Minister of Health and Education. The decision to conduct NEXT for the 2019 MBBS batch in 2024 received wide criticism and representations were made by students to defer the exam. NMC will issue detailed information on when the exam is going to be implemented after receiving the further orders from the Minister of Health. The mock test of NEXT 2023 is supposed to be conducted on July 28. However, there is no clarity whether the mock will be conducted as per the schedule or not.
