NIFT has released the result for domicile candidates of J&K/ Ladakh on June 29, 2021. The Written Test (CAT and GAT) was held on June 12, 2021. A total of 8 domicile category students have been shortlisted for NIFT Admission and the names of the candidates have been shared below. Every year, the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) invites applications for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) course offered to candidates with J&K and Ladakh domicile. This year, the application forms were released on May 15, 2021, and the last date to apply was May 31, 2021.

Result for NIFT Admissions (J&K/ Ladakh Students) 2021
The result has been announced for the J&K/Ladakh students through an online mode. The students who have successfully qualified the special NIFT exam for J&K/ Ladakh domicile students will be offered seats in the preferred course based on the availability of the seats after the 1st round of NIFT counselling.

NIFT J&K Admissions Eligibility Criteria 2021
The eligibility criteria for NIFT admissions 2021 for J&K students have been given below. The candidates who meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for admission at NIFT under the J&K domicile category.
- The student must have completed class 12 in the 10+2 pattern from any recognised central or state board of education, like the CBSE, the ISC, etc.
- The candidates who have cleared the General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (Cambridge/ London/ Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level or International Baccalaureate (IB) are also eligible to apply.
- Those who have studied at any public school/ university/ board in India or in foreign countries which has been recognised by the Association of Indian Universities to be equivalent to the 10+2 system can also apply.
- The students who have studied under the National Open School must have cleared their Senior Secondary School Examination with at least five subjects.
- Candidates who possess a diploma of three or four years which is recognised by the AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education will also be considered eligible.
- The age of the applicant should be 23 years as on August 1, 2021. A relaxation of five years in age is given to the students of SC/ ST and PwD categories.
