NIFT has released a notification announcing that the Lateral Entry Admission at NIFT for B.Des and B.FTech courses has been cancelled for 2021. Find out all the updates about NIFT NLEA 2021 here.
NIFT , popularly known as the National Institute of Fashion Technology has announced that the NIFT Lateral Entry Admissions (NLEA) has been cancelled for the year 2021. The notification regarding the cancellation of NIFT NLEA 2021 was released on July 22, 2021 on the official website of the institute.
The NIFT NLEA provides direct admission to B.Des and B.FTech courses every year in the third semester. Eligible and interested candidates apply for these undergraduate courses for lateral entry admission offered by multiple NIFT campuses spread across the country . NIFT NLEA 2021 has been cancelled by the conducting body and the notification regarding the same has already been released online.
Generally, an entrance test is conducted by NIFT for admission to B.Des and B.F.Tech in Lateral Entry mode. Candidates who have completed Diploma/ Degree courses in Fashion Technology and Fashion Design can apply for the entrance test conducted by NIFT. These candidates are considered eligible for admission to the third semester of B.Des/ B.FTech course if they clear the entrance test and subsequent rounds of the selection process.
After clearing the entrance test, NIFT conducts Studio Test and Personal Interview for final selection. The application process for Lateral Entry is conducted online and the candidates have to visit the official website of NIFT to fill the online application form.
