Integrated Tribal Development Agency (IITDA) have joined hands with National Institute Of Fashion Technology and in their collaboration, they will offer a three-month course in fashion designing for tribal youth.
According to the media reports, the course will cover the fundamentals of fashion designing and provide insights into the emerging trends in the most vibrant sphere.
Youths, above the age of 18 years with a minimum qualification of SSC, are eligible to undergo training in fashion designing free of cost, sources added. A basic aptitude test would be conducted to admit the eligible youths into the course at the ITDA headquarters in Bhadrachalam at 10 am on August 10.
A plan is to give a green signal and sanction tailoring units to ensure placement for trained youths in textile units in the State and elsewhere in the country.
