The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has commenced the registration process for vocational courses, and the candidates who are interested in pursuing vocational courses through NIOS can submit the online application form through the official website of NIOS.
NIOS offers vocational courses also with other mainstream secondary and senior secondary courses. NIOS offers two vocational courses under its Virtual Open Schooling (VOS): -
- Certificate in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry
- Certificate in ICT Applications
NIOS also offers a number of Vocational, Life Enrichment and community oriented courses.

NIOS Registration Process for Vocational Courses:
- The candidates will have to visit the official website of NIOS and select the option courses under Virtual Open Learning.
- A new page will open where the candidates will have to click on the link 'Register for the Courses'.
- A new page will display now where the candidates will be required to click on the option 'Click Here to Register'.
- Enter all the mandatory details.
- Now Log in with credentials and fill other details.
- Proceed to Fee Payment
- After the fee payment, the candidates will receive a confirmation message.
- August 31, 2018, is the last date to make the fee payment and register for vocational courses.
