The National Institutional Ranking Framework is a format to rank the colleges in terms of various parameters. Each college will be given scores for each parameter and accordingly, the comprehensive list of the NIRF rankings will be released. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has been ranked in first position for 2022 and 2023. Both Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and Vellore Institute of Technology have jumped one rank forward in 2023 at 14 and 17 respectively from rank 15 and 18 in 2022.
