NIT Rourkela Ph.D Admissions Begins

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela has recently invited applications for admissions to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in Engineering, Science, Management and Humanities & Social Sciences for the academic session 2015-16.

The interested candidates can apply online for admissions before November and the shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.

The candidates should have M.E /M.Tech /M.Pharm in relevant discipline with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 per cent marks in aggregate in B.Tech (and M.Sc /B.Pharm / MCA) and M.Tech levels from a recognised university.
Or
The candidates should have done B.E /B.Tech /B.Pharm /MCA or equivalent in relevant discipline, having obtained CGPA of 7.0 or 65 per cent marks in aggregate.
Or
The candidates should have done M.Sc in Basic Sciences, having acquired CGPA 7.0 or 65 per cent marks in aggregate in relevant disciplines.
Or
The candidates should have studied M.B.B.S/B.V.Sc, having obtained CGPA 6.5 or 60 per cent marks in aggregate.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of academic records, qualification, interest in the research and performance in the tests and interviews conducted.
Application process:

The candidates are also required to pay an application fee of Rs 500. The sponsored candidates are required to submit the scanned copy of the sponsorship certificate while submitting the application. The institute accept only online application.
