National Institute of Technology, Tiruchi, will organize a two-day employability skill enhancement programme for college students on October 9 and 10.
The main focus of the event will be on tips for interviews, writing resumes, personality identification, soft skills, sector wise employment opportunities, career selection and guidance, competitive exams and entrepreneurial mindset to name a few.
The programme will be conducted under the supervision of Department of Management Studies which aims at helping students to harness their potential and in building confidence to face the interviews.
Students from final year undergraduate in engineering, arts, and science disciplines and second year post graduate students of M. Tech., MBA, M. Sc and other course can undergo the training.
Even students from final year engineering can apply. Here in the event students will be trained in 14 different areas to improve their employability quotient. The training has been designed to meet the requirements of students and industry and academic institutions.
Career consultants, practising managers, entrepreneurs, and academics will handle sessions, said an official from the institute.
