NEW DELHI: National Institute of Technology, Warangal has released the placement report in online mode. Keeping in view the past trend, the total number of jobs offered to the NIT Warangal students has been increasing every year by the participating MNCs. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the NITW recruitments were held through online mode only. As per the placement report, the highest salary package of INR 62.5 LPA was offered to each Gaurav Singh and Priyansh Maheshwari from Computer Science.
NIT Warangal Placement Highlights
- About 250 recruiters participated in the placement drive
- Highest salary offered is INR 62.5 LPA; Second highest being INR 57.5 LPA
- A total of 630 B.Tech students and more than 370 PG students
- Average package is INR 14.5 LPA
- Out of 700 B. Tech students, 630 were placed; While 386 out of 677 PG students secured lucrative jobs
- More than 450 internships were offered to final year students
According to the reports, NV Ramana Rao, Director, said that almost 220 students secured a package of INR 20 LPA and the average package was INR 14.5 LPA. More than 450 pre-final year students received internships from various companies. The stipend offered to interns ranges from Rs, 20,000 to Rs.1.6 Lakhs.
Who bagged the highest package?
The highest salary package was given to Gaurav Singh and Priyansh Maheshwari from Computer Science Engineering; placed in Deshah, offering a salary package of INR 62.5 LPA each. Followed by, Debrup Mandal was also offered a package of INR 57.5 LPA in Deshah. Another set of 15 students was placed in Microsoft with a salary package of INR 45 LPA; some students who secured their jobs in Oracle, with a package ranging from INR 27 LPA to INR 32 LPA.
