The next edition of All India National Law Entrance Test (AILET) will be conducted on May 7, 2017.
NLU Announces Date for All India National Law Entrance Test (AILET): May 7, 2017

The next edition of All India National Law Entrance Test (AILET) will be conducted on May7, 2017 by the National Law University, Delhi. AILET 2017 is conducted for candidates aspiring admission in the following courses:

  • BA.LLB (Hons) programme, duration - Five-years
  • LLM and Ph.D. programmes, duration - One-year

In order to avail the application form for the same, students will have to visit the official website of the university. The application forms will be made available on the site from January 1, 2017.

A circular was issued by Prof GS Bajpai, Registrar, NLU regarding the exam.

Some of the topics touched upon in the question paper are:

  • English
  • General Knowledge
  • Legal Aptitude
  • Reasoning
  • Elementary Mathematics

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed 12th standard with at least 50% marks. For those who will be appearing for the exam next year i.e in the month of March/ April 2017, they can also apply.
  • For post graduate programmes, candidates must have completed LLB with 55% marks. In case a candidate is appearing for the final LLB examination, they can also apply.

Application Procedure:

Candidates will first need to register themselves at the university’s official website by filling information in the application form.
