The Central Board of Secondary Education has not decided the date to declare the results of Class 10 & Class 12 examinations. However, some of the external websites are indicating that the results are expected to be out by May 24, 2017, and June 2, 2017. As of now, there is no official information from CBSE regarding the announcement of results.
Due to assembly polls in five states, the schedule of CBSE Class 10 & 12 examinations was delayed. In 2016, CBSE declared Class 10 results on May 21 and Class 12 results on May 28. Based on the last year’s dates, some of the external websites predicted the date of results for the year 2017.

The delay in the announcement of results might cause a lot of inconvenience to the students who wish to seek admission to various universities and colleges. If the results come out by the last week of May, students will not face any problem.
This year, a total number of 19,85,397 students appeared for Class 10 & 12 examinations. Chennai registered the highest number of students for Class 10 examinations, and Delhi registered the highest number of students for Class 12 examinations.

CBSE had successfully conducted NEET-UG 2017 examination on May 7, 2017. The examination took place in a smooth manner. However, parents and students expressed their dissatisfaction over the strict instructions imposed by CBSE. Students from Gujarat and West Bengal claimed that English medium question paper was easy compared to Gujarati and Bengali mediums.
