A CBSE official informed that the re-test of the CBSE Class 12 Economics board exam which was conducted on 25 April 2018 almost month after it was leaked, will not lead to delay in the declaration of board results.
As per the reports, the CBSE class 12 board result will be announced as per the schedule as the evaluation process is on the advanced stage. The board is following up with schools and is planning to send more evaluators than the required number of teachers so that there is no delay.

There were reports regarding the leak of class 10 mathematics paper but the board was not in the favour of the re-test for the same as class 10 was just an integral segment as compared to class 12. The reports of a leak of the CBSE papers had caused a lot of disappointment among students and their parents. Various students showcased their opposition against the same by protesting and accusing the board of their negligence in the matter. They also demanded severe and immediate action to be taken against the people involved in the paper leak.

As per the Delhi Police, the class 12 economics paper was leaked on March 23, 2018, i.e. three days prior to the economics exam. As of now, they have already made several arrests and the main conspirators behind the paper leak have been arrested from Una in Himachal Pradesh.
