Comes with the THE Lar University Rankings, a surprise for the Harvard Law School which has been placed at the ninth spot because of its low score in teaching. Although a top university of the world, Harvard has not able to secure the top spot in the THE Law Rankings this year.

On the other hand, the performance of Indian law institutes/ universities in THE Rankings 2018 is not up to the mark. None of the Indian institutes has been able to grab a position in the list of top 100 law universities across the world. Premier law institutes in India, National Law Universities (NLUs) have also scored low without making an impact in the rankings.

The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) has not yet introduced ranking for law universities or institutes across the country. It is time for the law universities in India to attract international students and faculty to witness improvement in rankings.
