KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) will conduct KCET 2020 on July 30 and 31, 2020. There will be no change in the exam dates, and the entrance test will be conducted with all safety measures. The Health Department if Karnataka has issued Covid-19 safety guidelines for students appearing for KCET 2020. Candidates who have been tested positive for Covid-19 can also appear for the exam, and the authorities will make special arrangements for them.

Candidates with Covid-19 positive will have to obtain a medical certificate stating that he/ she is fit to appear for the entrance exam. All the candidates must wear a mask and reach the exam centre. Candidates will have to wear the mask in the exam hall as well.

The government has directed the authorities of KEA to make sure that no overcrowding at the exam centre before the commencement of exam and after the conclusion of the exam. Students must also maintain social distancing and avoid conversations with others in the exam hall.
Invigilators at the exam halls will make sure that they get a signature of candidates with adequate social distancing. Students will have to carry their own essentials such as pen, pencil and a small sanitiser bottle.
In all, there will be no change in the schedule of KCET, and students will have to follow safety measures and take the exam.
