Speaking at a function organised by the Overseas Bihar Association (OBA) in Moscow, Founder of Super 30, Mr. Anand Kumar expressed that there is no shortage or lack of talent in Bihar. He said that students need proper motivation to come out of the shackles of poverty. The function was organised by OBA in association with Indian Embassy, Moscow. On this occasion, Mr. Anand Kumar was felicitated by OBA for his significant contributions towards helping poor students.

Mr. Anand Kumar pointed that Bihar is bestowed with abundant talent. What is important is that these students need to be shown the right path so that they can work hard and achieve success in a professional set up. The lack of support and motivation is what is hindering them to face the challenges of poverty at present. Earlier, many students from Bihar have overcome the challenges and emerged successful in bringing about a generational change as well.

Mr. Anand Kumar runs Super 30 programme for talented students who hail from underprivileged sections of society. So far, over 400 students from Super 30 have made it to the IITs.
Anand Kumar’s Super 30 is not only popular in India but also foreign countries. Delegates from Japan and Moscow visited Super 30 earlier who were astonished to see the amount of effort and work is being done to help deserving students. Moscow University also offered scholarships to the meritorious students if they choose to go and study there. Japan is also interested in inviting Super 30 students to various universities across the country. Super 30 students are getting enough opportunities to pursue higher education not only in India but also foreign countries.
Inspired by the work that is being done by Mr. Anand Kumar, Uttarakhand government also launched Super 30 to train IIT aspirants .
