The Andhra Pradesh government clarified that there will be no upper age limit for Andhra Pradesh LAWCET (AP LAWCET) 2018 examination. Earlier, Bar Council of India (BCI) announced that the upper age limit for the candidates applying for three-year LLB course is 30 and five-year LLB course is 20 years.
However, the government of Andhra Pradesh was not satisfied with the decision of BCI and filed a petition in High Court seeking the roll-back of the age limit. On the other hand, the High Court also supported the state government and clarified that imposing an age limit for LLB course is not correct.
