National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning-NPTEL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Internshala to provide internships to students in more than 1800 colleges that have partnered with NPTEL as Local Chapters.
The MoU will offer students technical knowledge and competency and knowledge about soft skills which will generate employability as students will have an opportunity to find an internship through Internshala. Internshala offers 4.5 Lac+ internships. The platform will also provide students will online workshops so that they can prepare for internship preparation.

NPTEL offers online certification courses and is becoming very popular among students with 740 courses online and around 3.6 million + enrollments. The main aim of NPTEL is to help students across the country get access to quality education.
Andrew Thangaraj, NPTEL Coordinator stated that internships are extremely important for students as it offers them with relevant skills and practical skills which are very necessary before getting into the full-time job. This MoU will not only help them gain industrial skills but will also connect them with relevant opportunities and build the career in same.

Whereas Internshala's main aim is to build as many opportunities as possible so that the freshers can easily find themselves internships and find relevant training. According to Sarvesh Agrawal, founder and CEO of Internshala this collaboration will promote skill building and help youth find relevant job opportunities.
