As a part of the latest news popping out from the education field, there is just another university which is going to be introduced in the National Capital. After the Delhi Netaji Subhas University Technology Bill 2015 was passed on 24 June, the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) , which is affiliated to Delhi University, will find itself upgraded into a state university. There is more good news round the corner! That is, from now on, the institution is going to offer a heap full of courses exemplified by postgraduate and undergraduate education, multi-level entry vertically, in addition to a number of training and research programs. This is also to enhance the number of students taking admission there at courses like Doctorate, postgraduate, and even undergraduate courses. All this may come as a source of surprise for the esteemed reader, but when the process of admission is open for the aspiring youth, it is estimated that there are about 10,000 students, in a stark comparison to the previous figure of 3,500. But this is not all. The government even aims to introduce a skills university. This will basically follow the policy as well as the standards that are observed in diploma/degree in vocational and skills development courses.
