NTA releases Important Instructions for JEE Main 2024 Session 2

JEE Main Session 2 exam 2024 has been started today, which will be ended on April 12, 2024. Candidates should obey the instructions related to the JEE Main Session 2 exam.

Important Instructions for JEE Main 2024 Session 2: The National Testing Agency has released the important instructions that should be followed on the JEE Main Session 2 examination day 2024. As per the schedule, the JEE Main Session 2 exam will be held from April 4 to 12, 2024. On the examination day, the candidates should carry the colored printout of the JEE Main Session 2 admit card to the exam centre. Along with it, the candidates should carry a valid Photo ID proof in original (PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar card (with photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/ 12th class admit card). Candidates are only allowed to enter the exam center with identity verification.

JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam: Important Instructions

  • Candidates should not adopt any unfair means or do not indulge in any unfair examination practices since the exam centres are under CCTV surveillance and also equipped with Jammers
  • Candidates, who did not register through the Digi Locker/ ABC ID, should report to the exam centre early (at least 1 hour before) to complete their Biometrics recorded at the examination centre
  • Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre before the reporting time. Reporting beyond the GATE Closing time, will not be allowed to enter inside the exam venue. Since there are multiple pre-examination formalities to be done, therefore, one should arrive at the exam centre on time
  • Candidates should make sure that the question paper available on the computer screen is the same as opted by them on the admit card. Nonetheless, if the medium of the question paper/ subject chosen by the candidate is different then they should immediately contact the invigilator
  • Candidates should not bring any instrument/ geometry box/ pencil box, purse/ handbag, any stationery object, textual material, mobile phone/ earphone/ microphone, calculator, pager, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Camera, Rape, Recorder including the Electronic watch inside the exam centre
  • If the candidates will have to go to toiler in between the exams, then they should undergo the frisking and biometrics again
  • Diabetic students are allowed to bring their necessary eatables

Instructions for PwD Candidates

  • The PwD candidates should carry the PwD certificates issued by the Competent Authority to claim the PwD relaxation. Also, the PwD candidates are advised to reach the exam centre early for facilitating during entry
  • The PwD candidates will be able to avail Scribe facility and will get 20 minutes extra to answer the questions
