The newly constituted National Testing Agency (NTA) has planned to set up 3,000 practice centres across the country so that JEE Main 2019 and NEET-UG 2019 aspirants can practice mock tests at free of cost. As per sources, the practice centres will start functioning from August 2018.
NTA will also launch a mobile application to help candidates locate the nearest practice centre and register themselves to practice mock tests. The initiative will help the aspirants familiarise with the computer-based test, syllabus and pattern of JEE Main and NEET-UG.

The officials of NTA confirmed that the pattern of JEE Main 2019 and NEET-UG 2019 would not undergo any changes, and the existing exam pattern will continue for 2019 exams. The only change is that these exams will be completely conducted in online mode, i.e., Computer Based Test (CBT).
With a motive not to cause any inconvenience to the aspirants, NTA will not change the exam pattern midway. If there are changes in the exam pattern, NTA will notify at least one year in advance.
The practice centres will function on Saturdays and Sundays. Students will be allocated one hour to practice the mock test. More details regarding the practice centres will be announced soon.

NAT will conduct JEE Main and NEET-UG twice a year from 2019 onwards. The move will help the candidates to prepare well for the exam and secure a better score.
