Indian School of Business, Hyderabad has had its alumni strength cross the 10,000 mark this year. After the graduation of Class of 2019, the final number of alumni that ISB has reached is 10,700. There were a total of 883 graduates who had completed their course this year. From the Postgraduate Programme for Management, 598 students have completed their course and a total of 285 students passed out from the Mohali campus of ISB.
Indian School of Business has become one of the fastest growing b-schools in India that has reached the 10,000 mark. The Dean of Indian Business School Rajendra Srivastava has stated that the placement statistics for the year 2019 has been exceptionally good than the previous years, with the highest package of 25 lakhs per annum given to a student. He adds that there was 16% growth from the previous years in the number of offers that were rolled out to the students. 35 students opted for their own business venture.
The Chief Guest for the graduation ceremony was G.V. Prasad who is the CEO and Co-Chairman of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories LTD. He is also a member of the Board.

Some of the professors from ISB were also awarded the Professor of the Year. Milind Sohoni, Achal Bassamboo and Sarang Deo were awarded for the core courses whereas Piyush Kumar, Krishnamurthy Subramanian and S Arunachalam were awarded for the elective courses.

Rashi Choudhari was awarded the Gold medal for scoring the highest average cumulative grade point in both the campuses of Indian Business School. Nitya Samuel was awarded the Chairman’s All Rounder Award, for displaying remarkable leadership quality whereas Lalita Kavi Soumya was awarded the Parmeshwar Godrej Award (award for exemplary woman student).
