If you are looking at getting admission into one of the courses offered by the prestigious IIMs without a CAT score, you can do so now by getting access to the various online courses offered by IIMs. These are short certificate programmes having a duration of 1-3 months.
In addition to the IIMs, there are also many other institutes that offer online certificate courses on business management and marketing. Given below is a list of some of the online courses which have an IIM certification.
1. Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship Course
IIM Rohtak offers a course in the entrepreneurship programme. It is offered online and in addition to learning how to become an entrepreneur, the candidates will also get the opportunity to pitch their business plans to some of India’s largest investment firms. This course is a collaboration between Uptop- an online learning platform and IIM Rohtak.
2. Digital Marketing Course
IIM Jammu offers this course which can be completed between 5-6 months. The course includes the basics of digital marketing and other emerging practices in this field. Interested candidates can apply through IIM Jammu official website.
3. Global Business Management Course
IIM Calcutta offers this course twice a week for a year at hugheseducation.com . Candidates will get a certificate from IIM Calcutta, and the faculty from IIM Calcutta will be involved in teaching this. The course fee is Rs. 3.7 lakh and the learners can also avail a visit for two weeks in a year. Those with a BA degree or diploma with a minimum work experience of 3-4 years can apply for this.
4. Micro-Masters in Business Course
IIM Bangalore offers Micro Masters in Business Management which includes people management, marketing, business, finance, accounting etc. This course commenced on April 27 and has a duration of nine weeks. The application fee is Rs. 70,000 for the course.
IIM Kozhikode has online courses in Applied Financial Risk Management, Senior Management Programme, General Management etc. The Senior Management programme began on June 28, 2020, and the course fee is Rs. 4,50,000 for the same.

Besides the IIMs, there are other B-schools that offer short-term online courses in Marketing, Finance, Strategy Management, IT and Human Resource Management. For instance, XLRI offers online certification in Transformational Leadership, Blockchain for Senior Managers, Digital Marketing, Project Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management etc. IIFT and Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA) Ahmedabad also run online certificate courses with a duration between 2-4 months.
