OU to Hold Admissions to Distance Courses Twice a Year

The Osmania University will now hold admissions twice a year after being instructed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the academic year 2020-21 . The admissions will be for various programmes that are available at the university through the distance education mode.

The OU's Professor G Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education will now hold admissions in two short periods. In the first period, it will hold admissions from January 1, 2020, to February 28, 2020 . The second short period admissions will be conducted between July 1 and August 30 . Aspirants who want to take admission in the first short period are advised to get done with their admission process before February 28, 2020. Registration fee, examination fee and course fee should be paid online only through the official website of the university. The UG and PG programmes that the Centre for Distance Education of OU offers comprise B. Com , BBA , B.Ed , MCA , MA (Philosophy, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Hindi, Telegu), BA, MA (Political Science, Public Administration, Psychology, History, Sociology, Economics, Public Personnel Management, MSC (Statistics), PG Diploma in Business Management , English Language Teaching, Bio-Informatics, Computer Applications, and Mathematics.
