Osmania University has announced pre-PhD exam results of 44 subjects and the results are uploaded on the website. The university controller of examinations, Dr. Sriram Venkatesh stated that the evaluation process for the pre-PhD in six subjects has been completed and the evaluation for law is in progress. The results for the remaining subjects will be declared at the earliest.
The PG results of 14 courses have been declared and the memos have been sent to the departments. Results of another 15 departments will be out within two or three days. MBA first and third-semester results were announced on May 19 and 61 percent of the students have passed.

Osmania University was set up in 1918, it is the seventh oldest in India and the third oldest in South India, also it is the first to be set up in the princely state of Hyderabad. The university has been re-accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (an autonomous institute of the UGC) as an A+ Grade University.
