Gujarat MBA admissions are to end today, 5th July and as of the now the colleges have received registrations for only 19,763 seats both in MBA and MCA courses.
According to the Gujarat Admission Committee for Professional Courses over 15,000 seats would go vacant . The ACPC officials further informed that around 4,665 students have applied and have even got their documents verified.
Also, 22,000 seats were also surrendered by various colleges of the state as they were unable to get the required strength. One of the main reasons behind such a huge number of seats lying vacant is that students are unable to find relevant job opportunities after pursuing these courses. Further, students have started opting for courses which have better job prospects and salary packages.
